How to apply our beard butter:

Note - depending on how and where you store our balm, it may appear slightly firmer or slightly softer to the touch; to work around this we suggest:

-          Storing in a our beard balm in at room temperature

-          Keeping the jar out of direct sunlight

-          Closing the lid properly after every use

We also use a range of butters and waxes which are designed to stay soft and manageable and body temperature, but solidify when exposed to the environment.

It is recommended to wash your beard and face first, using luke warm water and a small amount of natural shampoo if you have it – although the balm will have the same soothing effects if you miss this step!

When taking your butter from the jar, we suggest using the pads of your finger to “dig” before sliding it back to pick up roughly a pea sized amount per inch on beard hair – you can fine tune this by preference.

Work between the tips of your fingers until smooth; apply to the skin under your beard first, then work from the roots to tips of the hair.

Take some time during this step to ensure the oils could absorb into your skin and the butters and wax to your hair, for maximal benefit and styling gains!

If you have a comb or brush, this is your time to use it to thoroughly distribute oils and detangle your newly conditioned beard.
